Lakeside, CA.
Welcome to Free Grace Theology Blog! I am glad that you are visiting! Free Grace Theology emphasizes the glory of God revealed through: the absolute freeness of eternal life, certain assurance of eternal life through faith alone in the objective promises of Christ, eternal security, the costliness of and the significance and meaning (the abundant life) through discipleship, the responsibilities of the child of God, the accountability of the Christian both in time and eternity, and the conditional glories, honors, and privileges for the overcoming Christian at the coming reign of Christ in the Kingdom of God. May you be filled and empowered by His Spirit to do His work!

Romans 4:4, 5 "To him who works his wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work, but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness."

Those pictures speak volumes of the heart of Zane Hodges. I especially like the one with something on his head saluting, and the young boys with tennis rackets! It reminds me of my youth group when we went driving around town in my big Mercury Marquee with tennis racket covers on our heads. I think Zane and myself would have really hit it off around that age.
Hey Diane I bet you already have the first article in the new Journal of the Grace Evangelical Society all marked up . . . ha!ha! I know I do!
Thanks Antonio for posting the pictures there wonderful and a GREAT TRUBUTE TO ZANE!!!!
Alvin
Excellent. I almost feel like I knew bro. Hodges, the man, now. God Bless.
Antonio,
what did Zane die from? I haven't been able to find that out anywhere.
Bob Wilkin is in need of everyone's prayers right now. See his post at the GES blog.
Thank you bro. Gary. We will certainly pray for him & his family. May the Lord bless you.
Will be praying for him and his family. Thank you Gary.
God bless

Thank you Antonio for posting these brochures from Zane's funeral. We met both of those young boys in the picture (from the 1970 picture with Zane saluting at the funeral. Both would now be in their 40s. They are Luis Rodriguez's sons. How they loved Zane!
I would love to have a transcript of everything said from the speakers at the Memorial Service. They all impacted my life with what they said. It was the way that God used Zane to open their eyes to truths that changed their lives. Truths that make a difference!!!
Alvin, yes I've got Bob's article in the journal all marked up. How did you know?
ha-ha
Gary, how I appreciate you telling us about Bob's mom being near death. We've been praying for her and her salvation. Perhaps God's already answered that prayer.
Bob's been through a lot lately, hasn't he!!! But when we are weak, HE is strong.
In Jesus' love,
Diane
Dear Friends,
Please keep Bob Wilkin in your prayers. He loved Zane who is now with the Lord, and he loved his mom who has just passed away. You can read about that at the GES website.
Jesus is our refuge and strength.
